On my family trip to Busan in the summer, I stayed at Felix by STX, which is close to Haeundae Beach. I arrived earlier than I thought, so I was looking for a place to go with my child, and decided to take a walk at Haeundae Beach, where I could enjoy the Busan sea properly. On the first day before check-in, we took a walk and played in the sand at the beach, and on the second day, we enjoyed the beach. Haeundae Beach, which comes to mind when it comes to Busan Sea, is famous for its many people, and we also saw the pop-up of Haeundae Muscle Beach called Samdae Obaek. From now on, I will share the story of Haeundae Beach where I enjoyed swimming and playing with my child.

Location: udon, Haeundae-gu, Busan

Opening period: June 1 (partial opening), July 1 to August 31 (official opening)

Parking: Dongbaek Park Public Parking Lot, Dongbaek Public Parking Lot

Haeundae Beach is 500 meters from exit 5 of Haeundae Station. If you use your own car, you can park at the nearby Dongbaek Park Public Parking Lot and Dongbaek Public Parking Lot.

Haeundae Beach, one of the representative tourist attractions in Busan, was visited by children and families.

On the first day, I didn’t bring my swimsuit, so I just took a light walk and played in the sand. In fact, he wanted to get in right away, but he couldn’t afford to check in wet, so we decided to dip his feet lightly.

Haeundae Beach, surrounded by high-rise buildings, felt different from the beach in Gangwon-do, which I went to often. There were many foreigners, so my child said that it seems more like an overseas place than Guam.

Here, you can rent a parasol, life jacket, and tube as a kiosk. Some people enjoyed suntening under the parasol.

Seeing that many people visited even though it was a weekday, I was able to realize the popularity of Haeundae Beach, a hot summer resort.

There are a lot of people anywhere in the wide beach. As expected, the beach is the best in the hot summer. The day we visited was so hot that we received a heat wave warning and a disaster text message from all over the country, but it wasn’t hot around the beach because of the sea breeze.

No matter how much you don’t have a swimsuit, you have to dip your feet in it. When the waves come in, you jump and play.

Instead of swimming, we played sand and decided to walk along Haeundae Beach to Dongbaek Island with our children. It was so hot when I walked, so my child played sand in the middle and my husband and I took a rest. I visited Dongbaek Island the next night and the night view was so cool. The foot washing place at Haeundae Beach is on the right side, looking at the information center building. I looked straight to the right on Haeundae Street, but I only found one place here. I think there was a foot washing place near Paradise Hotel in the past, but I don’t remember well. As it is a place where many people visit, it would be nice to expand the facilities a little more.

My daughter, who was disappointed that she couldn’t swim. On the second day, let’s wear a rash guard and a life jacket at the accommodation and go beach at Haeundae Beach!

The sea water wasn’t clean, maybe because there were a lot of tourists. My daughter giggles when she sees a plastic bag floating around. I took the plastic bag I picked up while playing and threw it into the trash can later.

Let’s have fun swimming and start playing sand, which is my child’s favorite. My child likes playing sand more than swimming at the beach.

I sat down and used a sand bath only on the lower half of my body. They said the sand was heavier than I thought and they liked it.
